With Springulator, users can calculate an array of information with minimal data input. The app allows users to check the stress of a design, calculate spring functions, and test spring capabilities. It provides comprehensive calculations such as stress, tension, free length, solid height, load at solid height, total number of coils, rate, deflection, and more. The calculations are available in both English and metric measurements.
One of the standout features of Springulator is its adjustable initial tension for extension springs. Users can also choose between standard or cross-over hooks for extension springs and specify the coil gap for extension springs. Additionally, the app allows users to specify the leg length for torsion springs.
The latest update of Springulator introduces new material types, including Inconel 600, Inconel X750, Hastelloy C 276, and Eligiloy, for all spring types. It also adds finish-type specification for all spring types, suggested body length display for extension springs, and the ability to spec out coil gap for extension springs.
Springulator is developed by Newcomb Spring Corp, a leading global supplier of springs and metal components. The company has a wide range of material capabilities and operates with ISO-9001-certified quality systems. With its user-friendly interface and powerful calculation capabilities, Springulator is a valuable tool for engineers and designers in various industries.
